Do you love your job? Our people do. Maybe it's because we lead our market, maybe it's because they can use the in-house gym, perhaps it's the support they get from their colleagues, or maybe it's just because they know this is a great place to work, that gives proper training, proper wages, and the potential for long-term careers.
We currently have vacancies for people young and old, working mums or dads, part-time flexible workers or full-timers, in the following roles:
If you think you have what it takes, or are just curious, email your CV and a covering letter telling us what you are passionate about, to email@example.com.
But if the job you want is not listed, and you think you could be an asset to us, helping to deliver our nationwide customers with the highest level of service, or you think we are missing a trick, get in touch anyway telling us why firstname.lastname@example.org.
Common to all our careers is a year round job (so not affected by tourist dates!) with excellent training, ongoing support, use of in-house company gym, competitive salary, days out (recent ones have included karting and horse racing), 4 weeks holiday, Christmas and New Year shutdown, phones, tablets, and our commitment to help you achieve your true potential.
At Continental it's not what you've done in the past, but what you're passionate about doing in the future that really matters to us.
I am 21 and have worked for Continental for over 3 years. Having completed my A-levels in I.T and Maths I was looking for work as I had had enough of education. After doing some part-time work for my dad (a builder) and some fixing of phones I decided to go for a “proper job”.
Meeting the General Manager for the first time was daunting as it was my first interview but I got a real sense of the company wanting to give me an opportunity.
Whilst it was a sales role, an intensive 4 week training programme gave me the confidence to pick up the phone and speak to customers. I.T was still my love but the sales training was teaching me new skills. After 3 months I was offered the chance to work on the company website and have not turned back.
I have now been involved with running national marketing campaigns and working closely with the Chairman on various software development projects including mobile apps. Every day I am doing what I have always wanted.
I love my job.
I've worked for Continental Underfloor for 13 years, and the company has become very special to me. I started in despatch and worked my way up through the ranks to ICT/Operations Manager and second-in-line to our MD - it's been a crazy journey!
When I moved to Cornwall from Leicester, I knew I needed to find a company that would enable me to grow and settle. I found exactly that in Continental Underfloor. 13 years on, I have a successful job, a beautiful wife and child, and live in (in my opinion) the best place in England.
Along the way I have learned that the only obstacle to anything is yourself; and as long as you're positive you can achieve anything in life.
Life just wouldn’t be the same for me (or my colleagues) without Continental Underfloor...
I love my job.
I am a young mother of 2 who has worked for Continental for the past 5 years. After spending time at university my priority became my children, and work involved doing the accounts for my parents business.
With my 2 girls growing up I wanted to get back into a career and a role that would challenge me, but knew I would need flexibility with the girls. The signs were good when I attended the interview as the team and environment made me feel at ease.
With my restriction on hours I was started in a junior admin / accounts position but in a short space of time my attention to detail and diligence has seen me propelled to Financial Controller. With the support from the team, I have been able to do this role and still do it on a part time basis.
I am now in the enviable position of being challenged at work whilst still having the time for my kids. The Christmas break is especially welcome.
I love my job.
