Product: AluPlas® with pipe decoiler
There are still tradesmen in the UK that haven't had much experience of installing underfloor (yet...). For this particular project, the installer hadn't fitted an underfloor heating system before, so he needed as much help and advice he could get.
With our easy-to-follow pipe layout drawing and detailed manual, we make sure that the system is as simple to fit as possible, no matter how experienced - or otherwise - you are. Knowing that you have the right tools for the job, and that we're on the end of the phone, is incredibly reassuring for a rookie underfloor installer.
The installer wanted the most effective system - and a pain-free installation method. Our experienced Technical Sales Adviser discussed the best installation method with him. The customer had a traditional installation throughout, with liquid screed covering insulation board on top of a concrete base slab. With this in mind, our adviser suggested the use of AluPlas® pipe with a pipe decoiler.
When installing the pipework, the decoiler gave a hassle-free way of uncoiling the pipe without needing a second person to assist on the job. Using AluPlas® pipe with its aluminium core meant that when the AluPlas® pipe needed to be shaped for the returns, it retained its formed bend to allow for greater control of the pipework.
